Looking for something to do this Saturday? If you're into hip hop, Noisemaker Fest 2012 is the place to be! My buddy Kublakai is the man behind the idea and breaks it all down in the video below. Yours truly will be there with a small posse after what shall be an exciting double dinner date with The Emcee Type and his wife. More on that at a later date... At any rate, watch the video and come shake your ass, bob your head or perform whatever body movement you prefer while the beats bang.Read More
I've been working with Scribes for about a year now and had the pleasure of filming his live performance at Neumo's on his birthday. My buddy Adam Wygle manned the camera in the hawks nest and I was running around on stage. I also set up another static camera on side stage for a third angle. I learned a lot about filming a live set. 1. It's hard. It's a lot of work and it's a lot of shooting.Read More
Waddup world? It's been a while since I dropped a new video on you. Well today, I drop the biggest production in my career. This video took about 5 days to shoot and many more were spent planning and in the edit room. Working with JC Flow was a true pleasure. He took direction very well and had a great deal of support from his friends and family to make this all happen. This guy puts a ton of hard work into his music and it shows. I had to match that on my end and I knew it wouldn't be easy. We put a ton of work into this and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.Read More
I'm sure you've all seen the movie The Hurt Locker. If not, what you're about to see may not make much sense. If not, you can watch them here and here. This is Ripynt's third EP release which
raps wraps up his 3 EP plan for 2011. All really solid projects and all FREE! You can download them here.
It's always a pleasure working with this dude because he's super open to my creative direction. He juiced up the dialogue while I focused on making this as Hollywood as possible and I think this is my favorite of the three.
Think we missed anything? Do you love it? Let us know in the comment box below!
Oh and if you can name the two people who are on the radios in the beginning, I'll hook you up with a framed surprise photo and a disposable camera! Go! I'll give you a hint, they both rap.
I've been listening to The Physics since their first album "Future Talk". I've always loved the smooth soul sounds these guys produce. Recently on a trip down to San Fran, I put "The High Society EP" on my iPod and pushed play when I sat down on the BART. It was the best soundtrack I could have selected. It really re-connected me with their music. Since then, I've been anxiously waiting for the day their new album dropped. That day happened last week and I couldn't be happier.Read More
