Last weekend we through a slip n' slide party. It consisted of one big piece of plastic, dawn dish soap, a sprinkler, a bunch of booze and a good group of people willing to endure some bruising for fun. Holy crap did we have a good time!Read More
Happy Friday ya'll! About a month ago Priya surprised me with a trip down to NW Trek for some animal watchin' and obstacle course action. The animals were all pretty boring but the obstacle course was insane! The whole course lasted about an hour and a half and I definitely had sore butt cheeks from all the puckering. It was such a blast! There were bridges, walls, tight ropes, nets and most important, ZIPLINES! It was seriously so much fun and I highly recommend it. Here's a little GoPro video I put together giving you a look inside the action. Enjoy the video and most importantly get out and enjoy the last bit of sunshine we're getting!Read More
'm on a little work trip shooting some video down in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I hit was able to hit Best Buy the morning of my flight and snag a suction cup mount for my new GoPro Hero2. Once I boarded my flight, good ol' open seating blessed me with a window seat and I was able to capture the action! All this was inspired by a friend of mine Jeff Marsh, who did a time-lapse on his way to Haiti last year. You can check out his video/post here.Read More
This year for Priya's birthday, she wanted to "play in the snow". Snowboarding is expensive and a bit of a commitment for the folks who don't have gear, so she decided on tubing! We headed up to Snoqualmie Pass' Tube City and had a blast! After tubing we headed down to North Bend for some grub at the North Bend Bar and Grill. I highly recommend this spot next time you're in the Snoqualmie area. Delicious food/beer and great service. I got this GoPro Hero2 for Christmas and had a chance to document our experience on the slopes. Check it out!Read More
This Thanksgiving we all got together at my dad's house and had a feast! It was great to just plop down at one spot all day and not have to bounce around like in the past. I'm so thankful we can all get along and have a blast! I recently borrowed a Go Pro 2 from my friends over at Feral Motion and thought I'd give the time-lapse feature a try. It was incredibly easy to use and the pictures are pretty high quality! I really wanna get one of these things. I downloaded "Time-Lapse" from the Mac App Store for $1.99 and stitched 2700 photos together. Then I dumped the movie file into Final Cut Pro where I was able to cut it a bit, add tunes/text and turn it to some good ol' black and white. Check out the video below and let me know what you think.
Enjoy the holiday weekend ya'll!
