I've been working with Scribes for about a year now and had the pleasure of filming his live performance at Neumo's on his birthday. My buddy Adam Wygle manned the camera in the hawks nest and I was running around on stage. I also set up another static camera on side stage for a third angle. I learned a lot about filming a live set. 1. It's hard. It's a lot of work and it's a lot of shooting. 2. The more camera men the better. I think the more you can switch up the angles/shots in the edit the better. 3. The Zoom H4N is awesome. I was able to plug right into the mixer and get killer sound. 4. Rendering 11 songs takes forever and a week! All in all, I really enjoyed this. Scribes is a great performer and I'd really like to work on more live stuff in the future. Here are the two videos we decided to release to the masses. Enjoy!
