What a month March was! Epic powder days in the mountains, photo shoots every weekend and a trip to the East Coast! With all that happening it took me longer than usual to decide on my photo of the month. Well here it is!
This photo was taken at Charles River Esplanade on the Charles River just outside of Back Bay. I had plans of shooting the sunset but didn't really have a clue to where the sun was going to set. Well it chose Cambridge. It just so happened there was a dock that extended off the trail enough so I could get a great landscape shot with no interference.
I took about thirty shots and this one took the prize. I had just been hipped to Graduated Filters by my friend Darien Chin before my trip and I don't think this shot would have turned out the way it did without one. I had so much fun shooting this picture. I love the reflections of the sail poles from the boats and the jet clouds to the left of the picture that resemble little fire flies.
