The video hosting giant YouTube, decided to add a video editor to their service on Wednesday. Does this replace Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier? Not in the slightest. Is it a cool way to add some style and reduce some shaky hand syndrome? Absolutely. Here's a video breaking down the new service.
I had to do my own test this morning. I feel like overall, it's really easy and does a decent job of making your afternoon cat video look even cooler. The only annoying thing I found was that every time you mess with an adjustment, the video has to reload and replay. That means a video that takes a bit longer to load would be really frustrating to work with. However, I think this is catered towards individual clips not productions.
Here's my boy Scribes ripping up the speed bag in YouTube edited form and completely raw. What do you think? Will you use this new service?
