Building My Makeshift Home Studio Part 1

So I have been slowly recruiting all the stuff I need for my home photography studio. I received my lighting kit from B&H Photo last week but still needed other things to complete the setup. Today I went out to find my backdrop. I went to Joann Fabrics and there is where the best deal was found. I spent $20 on a 9'x9' piece of beige fabric. I only bought one piece because I wanted to make sure it was the right look I was going for. I also bought some cheap hanger clips from Joann's as well to hold the sheet. Now that I know it's the right look, I am going to buy at least one more piece of fabric to cover up the other side of the space and close off the kitchen.

I should be finishing off the project by next week so be sure to check back and see the finished "Studio" along with some photo samples from my creation.
